I did a feature on my sister in law Teresa with Nestled in Rosenberg not too long ago. It was about her Art from a $store gift bag. She made these
How awesome are they!?! I LOVED her idea! I decided to start hunting for my own $store gift bags and frames to decorate our pretty plain apartment. I found these CUTE girls gift bags at Dollar Tree. My hubby found the colorful frame packs at Target for $2.50 ea.
See the raised pieces? I removed those and put them into the frames. These are the finished pictures. I used scrap book paper behind the images.
The green dragonfly on the floral paper is my favorite!! Alie came to check them out when I was finished.
See, she liked that one best too! This is how I hung them up in her room.
This is a view of the whole wall.
Thanks for stopping by today. Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Don’t forget about Terrifically Tasteful Thursdays!! I have also posted pictures of our recent vacation in San Diego for y’all to enjoy. It was a first for our family and the first time our sweet Alie had been to the beach. You can view the pictures HERE!
I am linking up to these awesome parties!

What a great idea! Very cute.
Wow, this was collecting dust, its so cute girl. How creative, I love them. Some of those bags are so cute right, perfect for framing, but duh, who would have thought. Also you would not believe but I have that same boy and girl praying, on your wall. I've had that for all my life, my dad's friend made it for me back in Romania when I was just a baby, and it's been in all my kids rooms, growing up. I was thinking about refinishing it though, to make it match my kids more, dark hair, ya know, none of them have blond, lol, but I did as a baby. he he. THANK you for your comments, on my 100 day challenge, so glad to see that others are like me, all crazy, and loud and stuff. Makes me feel a little better. lol. Going to try your turkey burger soon, sounds perfect. I love turkey burgers too, and I'm so craving something fattening, lol, so this will do the trick, but not be so bad, yayyy. Hugs, Bella :0
You are so clever. I would never have thought of this. I do see some really pretty gift bags, neve thought of framing them. What a great idea. Love it. Thanks so much for linking to TTT. Hugs, Marty
What a wonderfully creative idea. They came out so adorable. I am sure your daughter must love them they are really so very cute.I use decorative gift bags to hang on hooks and to put in empty spots like corners, I will add some flowers or greenery to the bag and it looks great. Also, you can put a small lamp inside to make a unique looking lamp, or you can also use them aspretty trash cans in a bedroom. Thanks for showing us your sweet creationsBlessings, Nelie
