I wanted to explain an upcoming hiatus. My husband, daughter, brother, sister in law, sweet little nephew and myself are going to San Diego for a much needed vacation. This will be our, as in myself, David, Alice, and sweet little Jayden’s first time visiting California and the Pacific Ocean.
I can’t tell y’all how excited we are. My hubs and I are beach bums. 100% total beach bums. In the 12 years we have been together I would say we’ve spent more than 1/2 of it at the beach. We LOVE the beach. We would drive out to the coast for Birthdays, Anniversary’s, Daddy’s Day, Mommy’s Day, Holidays, TGIF Day, Secretary Day, Love Your Mailman Day, International Day for the Preservation of The Ozone Layer, Elephant Appreciation Day!! We would drive out just because we had nothing better to do!

So, this little vacation we are going on is monumental. It will be Alie’s first time at the beach! We took her while she was still in the womb. My picture on the side bar called The Hubby and I, I was 8 months pregnant, that is when we took her! This will also be our first time seeing the Pacific but also the ocean in general. We’ve always only seen the Gulf. I am so excited!! I will take tons of picture for y’all too.

I love the beach as well. Something so serene and calming about it. If I had the chance I would move a lot closer to it. Have a wonderful vacation.

Have a great time! Make sure you go to an In-N-Out Burger and have a Double Double. Seriously, they are rated number one! When we go back to California to visit family, we eat there at least 5 times in a week! Yum!!! Thanks for stopping by my blog, by the way!
This is going to be such fun to see it all through her eyes — and, yours, since you've never seen the Pacific… I remember how it felt the first time I saw the North Sea… it's just another body of water, right? why the excitement… seems ridiculous, but it's just different, the sand, the vista, it's wonderful… enjoy and post the photos… then, come visit…
