Springtime Crepe Paper Rose Tutorial

I have shared this tutorial on a couple blogs in the past but never here on mine.  I have received quite a few WONDERFULLY SWEET comments on them, so I thought it was the perfect time to share it here.  Spring is here, well it’s here for us in PHX, and these pretty ‘lil roses are quite easy to make.


Roll the top and secure it with a dab of glue.
Start loosely winding the paper around the middle and fold it over as you go.
It will start to look like this.
I did a swipe of glue every few times around.
Remember to roll loosely and fold over as you go.
VOILA! You have a sweet lil paper crepe rose.
While I was making these, Alie handed me this one and said “look mama a fower (flower)” She made this one for me.  I have put it somewhere safe so that I can treasure it for years to come. :)

  29. I bought some crepe paper rolls to make some flowers then forgot where I had seen the instructions. Now I can try this. hmmmm, wonder where I put the crepe paper?

  43. Love the roses. It brings back memories of my childhood. The ladies would make these to decorate their homes. There was no such thing as plastic and silk artificial flowers.
