Halloween Pennant Garland from Paint Chip Samples

I have another SIMPLE paint chip project for y’all, this adorable Halloween Pennant Garland. I used a ruler to measure and trace lines to cut the triangles. Then found stencils online of pumpkins and bats. YES, those are the same pumpkins and bats I used from my Spooky Halloween Branch and for the Sentimental Halloween Wreath!

I glued the pumpkins and bats onto the triangles. Then glued the triangles to a strip of black hemp cord. See, I told y’all it was SIMPLE!!

Super cute, right? What do you think??

Spooky Halloween Paint Chip Branch Mobile

Remember the Fall Branch Paint Chip Mobile I made?? Ann from Make The Best of Things left me a sweet comment with suggestions for Halloween, Christmas and Valentines Day. Well….here’s HALLOWEEN!!

I LOVE IT!! I grabbed another branch from outside. Which, in the drought we are in right now in TX, it’s really easy to find a branch just laying around!! I spray painted it black. Traced some pumpkin and bat stencils I found online. Then traced them onto some paint chips and cut out the bats and pumpkins. SIDE NOTE: something I learned from the fall branch, make sure when using your stencils that you flip them from each side. Otherwise they wont fit together smoothly. Then I hot glued a piece of black hemp cord ( you could use black string or ribbon too) on the inside and then stuck the other half of the paint chip on top. Then I strung up my branch. I hung it from the ceiling and it just looked funny. So, I strung it up to the wall. I’m sure it would look great in a black vase too. Once it was up I started to sting up my pumpkins and bats. I LOVE my little Halloween display.

What do you think?? I’m really happy with it!! Wouldn’t it look great with some webbing and maybe some black bats and grayish white skulls!!? I need to go find some more branches!

Halloween Ribbon Topiary

This cute little Halloween ribbon topiary is super easy to make! I followed the tutorial here. Found the cute Halloween ribbon here.

I didn’t have as much ribbon as needed. Which is why mine it’s a perfect little fluffy ball, BUT I still love it. I spray painted a little terracotta planter, some floral moss from the dollar store and a straw black. Then hot glued my ball of ribbons onto the straw. SO EASY!!

My Fall Mantel

YAY, for crafting again!! It’s so exciting! I’ve really missed it and missed blogging!! I can’t wait to show y’all how I put this together!! I’m totally loving it!!!
FIRST, I scored all these goodies at Michael’s with their 50% OFF SALE!!!

Then, my wonderful sister in law Teresa, gave me a couple shutters! And so I painted one to use for the mantel.

Then I made a bunch of felt flowers, cut up a few of those fall floral sprays and started placing everything on a grapevine wreath. Then placed things here and there on my mantel and VIOLA!! My new fall mantel!!

I am in love!!! Do you love it??

I made this fall garland from online stencils, construction paper and twine.

I got that cute fall plant from Anna’s Linens last year or 75% off, the candle is a Paula Dean candle from my Brother and his Wife, and that adorable harvest basket is from my recent trip to Michael’s.

Those are the FIRST fallen pine cones of the season along with some little candles I had. Now, it’s kinda hard to see but that is the shell or skeleton of an Ocotillo Cactus from North Mountain, AZ. Mr. Wonderful had grabbed it on one of our hiking trips in AZ.

I LOVE this banana leaf pumpkin basket I got from Michael’s. It’s it so cute!? I think that is my sisters candle and another of the Anna’s Linens fall plants.

I filled the banana leaf pumpkin basket with cinnamon scented pine cones and pumpkins also from Michael’s.

So, what do y’all think?? Do you love it as much as I do!? My hubby helped me with the decorations too. AND he came up with a super inventive way to hang the wreath. He cut and shaped a wire hanger into a PERFECT hanger and it’s totally invisible too!!
