Fall Door Decor

I had SO MUCH MORE planned for this, but it just wasn’t in the cards for me this year.  My front porch needs a good power washing and maybe another coat of paint.  Maybe we’ll have it done in time for Christmas.  I am pretty excited about decorating for Christmas this year.  It’s my first time to time decorating a HOUSE as a home decor and craft blogger!!!  Before blogging and before we lost our home in 06 to a fire I THOUGHT I was a great decorator!!  If you could see what I came up with back then.  It’s pretty hilarious and a bit embarrassing!  Thanks to all you awesome creative bloggers out there I’m learning a few tricks!
SO, as I said, I had much more planned for this.  I wanted a table for this basket to sit on.

I have it inside with these two pumpkins.

I has also planned on getting a table or hay bale to sit the pumpkins on.   I went ahead and set them outside the front door wouldn’t look so bare

See Alie posing?? She’s so cute!!
I used my Fall Rosette Wreath I made last fall, my FIRST ever!  I had planned on using my new Fall Yarn Wreath I made, but I liked it better inside.

My front door needs some help too!

I made the fall leaf garland too.  I strung it up real quick to see how it looked and my sweet Alie saw another opportunity to pose for me!

So, there you have it, my fall door decor.  It’s not EVERYTHING I wanted but I still love it.

And there is my sweet cutie again!! :)
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I think your front entry looks terrific!(But especially so with the image of that darling little girl posing in the reflection of the storm door glass!)Love the garland, AND the wreath is gorgeous. You know what? You've got time — that door will still be there next September, and you can have your way with it!Best wishes, Cass

  2. I think it looks perfect Ami! Even though you didn't get to do everything you wanted to, it's still meaningful and everything was made with love. That's the important thing! I love the garland too. :)

  3. Oh I love it. I think the garland is wonderful and the wreath is perfect. I have the same recessed front door and no room for a tableor anything. Makes decorating hard, but you did a fantastic job. As usual Ali is just the cutest. I love that she likes to pose, way toooooooo cute. Thanks so much for joining TTT. Hugs, marty
