Happy Anniversary Mr. Wonderful

9 years ago today I married my very own Mr. Wonderful, my Prince Charming, my Noah ( I know a bunch of you just got that one!) 9 years ago today I married David, my “Happily Ever After”

9 years later I’m happier than I ever dreamt I would be.  He is a wonderful husband, father and provider. He is more than all the prayers I ever prayed. 9 years later we have the most amazing, wonderful, smart, funny, sweet, silly and beautiful lil girl.

Those are her very first school pictures.  Aren’t they fantastic!!  I just love her so much!!  Her poses are so great!  Did you see her princess poses she did for my Princess Crafts Post?  You have to check them out!!

And speaking of the Titanic, have you seen these? HA!

Yep….there was room for you Jack!

Well, I’m off to go enjoy my anniversary!

Easy Tutu Tutorial and 10 Princess Crafts

It’s National Princess Week!  Did you know that?  As a mother of a princess I feel terrible that I didn’t.  So, my appoligies for this being a little late as princess week is already in full swing.

Now, it’s the First Annual National Princess Week, so we are excused a little bit for not knowing ahead of time.  I thought it might be fun to find some crafts for Alie and I to do.  I wanted a share some of the fun stuff I found.  But first up, let me show y’all how to make a simple quick tutu that is PERFECT for Princess Week!

Here is what you need:

tulle

thick elastic

scissors

Cut tulle into strips.  Mine here are about 25 inches and I used 3 strips at a time.

Find the middle of your tulle and wined around your first two fingers like this.

Grab your elastic band.

Place the tulle you’re holding underneath the elastic band like this.

Pull the ends up and catch them with your first two fingers, right in front of the loop.

Pull the ends thru the loop.

Then pull it tight to create a knot.  The elastic tends to roll when you do this. It’s so biggie just flatten it out.   Repeat this for all the strips you have.

And…. VIOLA!  You have a  fun tutu!!

Those are her princess poses!  Too cute, right?

I also found these cute crafts to try…

Also at Lu Bird Baby is a tutorial for that adorable wand.

Are you going to SNAP?!?

Are you heading to the Snap Conference ? If so, I am INSANELY JEALOUS!! No really….I am. I really wanted to go. My sister-in-law, Emily isn’t just going, she is a speaker!

BUT…being that I just can’t make it THIS YEAR (did you hear that silent yet in there?) and I LOVE Snap and all the Snap team, I just HAD to contribute some how. So……

I made this…..

It’s for a giveaway being held during the conference. I can’t wait to find out who wins it.

It consists of a “evening” set

“day” set

did you notice???  The day set is made in the Snap colors!!  Alie helped me find the colors at the bead store too!!

and a “beach” or “lake” set.

After I made these beauties I needed something nice to package them in. So, I made these cute boxes.

What do y’all think?? I sure hope the winner loves them!! I would LOVE to hear all about your trip if you’re going!!

On another note, if you’re new here or one of my awesome readers from before, I lost nearly NINE HUNDERED feedburner readers during the switch. Now, I know this is to be expected but still pretty heartbreaking! So, if you haven’t subscribed I would LOVE LOVE LOVE for you to do so. Thanks so much!!
