Alie’s 4th of July Craft and 19 other ideas

Alie and I had fun making this easy and cute 4th of July kiddo craft yesterday.  I decided I would share with y’all all the great kid related 4th of July crafts I found online, including this one.  I shared a few patriotic crafts back on Memorial Day, you can check out that post here for more ideas.

The craft Alice and I had fun with, I first found on Crafts-N-Things for Children.

Here is what you need:

paper

kid friendly paints

paper plates

pipe cleaners

I made what I hoped would look like fireworks out of the pipe cleaners leaving a little extra in the middle for a handle.

I put paint in a few left over paper plates I had and then gave Alie some copy paper to paint.

See, it’s really easy.  The kids dip the pipe cleaner firework shape into the paint and then press it on the paper.

This sweet precious girl here has been really sick lately.  It seems like some serious allergies turned into a sinus infection.  She’s got some meds and was feeling much better today so….we crafted!

Now, it would be a smart idea to place some newspaper under the painting to avoid getting paint on your surface!

I had her paint some fireworks on to a sheet of red paper but it’s just not as vibrant as the white. Don’t you think?

Aren’t they great!!?

And here are 19 more fun 4th of July crafts for the kiddos!

  1. Thank you for linking to my Our Favorite Things Link Party. Using pipe-cleaners to paint fireworks is wonderful. I also love the many ideas you found on other blogs, especially the hand-print flag. I love hand-print art.

  2. I can’t believe the 4th is almost here. These are great ideas. My daughter would especially like the one you did with your daughter. May have to give it a go. I’d love if you’d link this up to Titus 2 Tuesday on Cornerstone Confessions. Hope to see you there.

  3. These are such great ideas! I especially love the ones having to do with food (I would. haha.)

I’m following you from the follow fest! I’d love for you to stop by my blog and become my blog friend too!
