Beautiful Fall Garden Inspiration

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Miracle-Gro for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I needed some fall garden inspiration and while looking through all the gorgeous fall gardens I found, I thought to share them with y’all.  Over the summer Miracle-Gro® has really helped my garden grow and in return made me feel like I knew what I was doing.  I’ve never had a green thumb.  I could kill a plant so quick it was criminal!  Now, I have a nice little garden in my back yard and it’s so exciting.  I always thought that whole “talk to your plants” was just silliness. Now I am talking to mine.  Seriously, they are like my precious little friends and I just love them.

Fall is here and as a total novice in the gardening category I needed some inspiration and help.  Have you heard of the Gardenieres?  They are a hand-picked group of green thumbs led by master gardener, William Moss. The Gardenieres are real-life gardening enthusiasts with real-world experience when it comes to growing, anything. They will be covering the country, inspiring us all to get out and garden, facing unique growing challenges and meeting us online, in social networks and, occasionally, right in our very own neighborhoods. All to make this the most remarkable, most conversational and most enjoyable growing season ever.

Sounds like fun, right?  When checking out the Gardenieres website, I found Mary Katherine Greene, who is the Gardenier for the South.  She has a lot of great advice.

Among her videos on the Gardenieres site is a video for growing your own vegetable garden.  Her video includes instructions on building the space for your vegetable garden and tips on how to make sure it grows properly.

Mary Katherine Greene also recommends useing Miracle-Gro® Garden Soil for Flowers & Vegetables. It is specially formulated for annuals, perennials, and vegetables and improves existing soil to build strong roots. It also feeds up to 3 months with Miracle-Gro® Continuous Release Plant Food, which is very helpful. And, Miracle-Gro® LiquaFeed® which makes feeding as easy as watering. Feeds plants through leaves and roots and is safe to use with all flowers, vegetables, trees and shrubs.

I have personally used both of these on our vegetable and herb garden in our back yard and it has helped tremendously.  Right now, we have all kinds of peppers, strawberries and a container garden of herbs.  I would LOVE to grow some veggies in our backyard. I can just imagine Alice and David picking tomatoes from our garden and bringing in them inside for me to cook with.

My grandpa grew tomatoes in his back yard. He actually had a large beautiful garden of roses along with the tomatoes.  He grew the tomatoes in chicken wire cylinders that my cousins and I used to play in. We would pretend we were on Star Trek and we would be beamed up in those cylinders.  We were always into trouble!

This is my handsome grandpa and my beautiful grandma, Dot and Charlie. These two are the very best grandparents any kid could hope for. They are together again, in heaven.  I miss them.

OK, sorry, back to fall gardening.  The Garendieres website has advice for anyone’s garden.  Like I mentioned above, Mary Katherine Greene is the Gardenier for the South.  There is a selected Gardenier for each region in the US, along with lots of expert advice from William Moss. Is that his real name?  Because it’s PERFECT for a master gardener, isn’t it?
