I am a HUGE Mexican food fan! SO, I decided to create a round up of delicious Mexican food to help us all celebrate Cinco de Mayo!!
A ‘lil history about Cinco de Mayo;Cinco de Mayo, Spanish for “fifth of May”, is a celebration held every year on May 5. Mommyhood is messy! You can’t let it steal your joy, though. There is nothing worse than seeing a child’s smile fade when they notice that mommy is NOT happy! Our precious little angels make messes sometimes that make you just want to SCREAM!

Like the time I walked into the bathroom and saw THIS….

Clorox® has come up with some funny Ick-tionary words!

I’ve created my very own Ick-tionary word to add to their list.

teddy-contaminus

Teddy-contaminus is when you have a preciously loved teddy that is covered in germs!

I literally gasped and then wanted to scream. Instead I grabbed my Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes to make sure the toilet was clean should any other teddy’s sit down and Teddy was washed in the washing machine with a little Clorox® bleach in hot water. BTW if you place a stuffed animal in a pillow case, close it snugly around them with a hair tie, they don’t loose their shape!!

I love using Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes. They are easy, convenient, disinfecting and can be used on so many different surfaces!

You can use them to clean up peanut butter finger prints…

or to clean up after some little ponies took a bubble bath….

They are perfect for cleaning up a night stand after a night of preschooler allergies!

I also use Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes to clean up Alice’s toys.

Easy Stenciled Flower Pot Gift

I made this particular stenciled planter for my wonderful MIL. It truly makes for a perfect Mother’s Day gift!

It really is very easy.

First, I painted my pot.

Then, I printed out a stencil on vinyl with my Silhouette SD. You can use any stencil you have or find in a craft store, as well. The vinyl worked out perfectly since you don’t have to tape or adhere it to the pot.

I then painted over the stencil and carefully pulled it off before the paint had time to dry.

That was it!! So easy, right?!!

DIY Wild Bird Egg Wreath

I love all the gorgeous wild bird Easter egg wreaths that are in the stores right now. I decided to make one and I’m sharing the simple tutorial with you!!

First you will need…

A wreath form, moss, eggs, and paint. Everything except the paint is from the dollar store. You will also need hot glue and white school glue.

I mixed white paint with other colors to create that light pastel chalky color. Then I used a dark brown to add the spots and markings on the eggs. I did an easy tutorial on this here.

After the eggs dried over night I hot glued them on to the wreath.

Then I gathered chunks of moss and glued them here and there on to the wreath. I used white school glue to this part.

What do y’all think? It’s pretty cute isn’t it?
